Planning what works for you
Hello Friends~
It’s been a little while since I posted sticker updates, but I wanted to share my currently layout + why I changed what I did. I have pretty much started living in my classic HP again, the vertical, and as sad as it is, at least I am consistent. Next release I won’t over do it. *fingers crossed* I hope.
I may pick up a memory planner just because. I am waiting to see if a 50% coupon pops up. I was impressed with what it came with, as for add ins to my planner.
Anyway, I haven’t been making stickers lately, as I was sorta bored with decorating and i have so many of those friggin sticker books I just feel sick. I still want every single sticker, I wish I could find a good use for them, but mostly just addicted to them. I was determined to make a new layout in January and I did finally get where I wanted with it. I love decorating but I need it to be productive to me as well as work for memory keeping (some white space, so I can write moods and such)
The best of the old
So, it has both. I did a birthday spread for myself, cause that was about when I finished it anyway. I like having the appt. boxes, but I changed it, which is less efficient cut time, BUT they are now even. It drive me nuts they were always a bit off since I put the lines on there by hand and not computer.
I kept all the good stuff, round icons, flags, weekend banner (still love mine), some basic blank boxes, and tassels – which again, I love.
I added more washi for the bottom of the pages if so desired, or just to cover headers. Then I added more blank boxes – I like having one for everyday just about. I have the space, why not. I thinned out the tracker so I could have two. Added a clean box, as I missed the cleaning stickers off my own ones a lot. I personally like having them to put chores on Friday. Then I did some small quarter boxes for decor. These are great for notes, reminders, or just because. The round icons work well in them.
Whats New
Then I added the new day stickers – Date Night, Plan it, Me Time & Coffee. I don’t even drink coffee and I missed this icon, it really marks Monday hustle well.
The biggest change is the checklist. I did a top 3 checklist for everyday +1, for that insane busy day, if needed. I REALLY needed this. I didn’t want to do boxes, though I tried it, as they took up too much space. A check list is really all you need, space wise. I am a firm believer in setting a top 3 (cough or 5) and focusing on those big things.
I like how this turned out. I hope everyone does as well.
And Future Goals
I need to get back on this train. I want to do more stickers and less basics. I really wish I had the time to cut stuff out for everyone though. I know it’d be helpful. If nothing else I wish I could do some basic icons and such that I could cut out. I just can’t find the time in the day to prep them and such. You can still contact me if you need help printing them or want me to cut a few files for you, I don’t mind in small amounts~
I thought it might be fun to do a poll of what to do next too. Just was throwing ideas around.
Then I wanted to go back and do months so they could all be blank, so they can fit any month.
Its hard having so many ideas and not enough time in the day lol
Either way, I really wanted these to be productive and pretty! I want to get back on making them on the regular as well!
Happy Valentine’s Day Friends
