2022 recap and my 2023 planner inserts

Happy 2023~

I am always renewed by new beginnings and new years is one of my favorite. Today I’m going to share a flip through of 2022, below, and just a quick recap of what is in my planner for 2023.

There is no sound, just a quick flip through for my records. I actually don’t keep my planners and do this instead since I have limited space.

I did start a new journal this last year of things we did, made, bought, etc – in a Muji B5 planner. I loved it and plan to keep these going forward. I told myself I needed to take more photos of us and what we do, so I did. Highly recommend a journal like this.

For 2023 I am using my own systems again. I love the disc bound and I am pretty happy with my Neutral stuff. I am not linking all the inserts today because I intend to change them this year. You can find the digital shop here, or join the mailing list for updates.

I have 2023, 2024, and a future log in the beginning

2023 Moon calendar (not added anywhere yet)

Weekly tarot card tracker

2023 Neutral months with reflection page

I decided not to do the perpetual habit planner this year, and instead am using a digital one. I opted for this as I feel like I will be able to update it easier. You can copy it in the google drive if you like here.

For January I am tracking expenses to see how much spending money I want to allow myself this year. I was fortune to have a great year at work, and I want to keep this under control. Something reasonable. I am also doing the Spooky tracker for a picture a day. I want to see how my face changes over the course of the month – hormonal reasons.

This is all I have planned on the extra months so far. I am still using my weekly spread, as many times as I try new things, I like this one the best. I also have a handful of quad spreads for daily todos.

At the back of my planner I have all my tracking and collections. I start off with a print out of goals, I like to keep those digital. Then I like having a few note pages for wishlist, eco ideas, etc.

23 great things in 2023 (I usually just pencil this on quad)

Bookshelf – books to read (here is my Goodreads, my goal is 52 this year). Then I have a spot for covers, as I love to reflect on those.

Then additional media, Movies, TV Shows, Songs, and a new one I added this year, video games.

Then I start a health section with my period wheel, tracker, weight, and my freebie Fallout screen. I use this track any injuries I get through the year, heh.

Now fiances. I do a digital budget in sheets, cause math, but I track savings, groceries, gas and I have a countdown tracker for debt. I also track extra money I earn month over month.

Maintenance reminders

Master pack list

Then I have my CYO trackers for tracking orders each month. I love these coloring sheets, and actually picked up all the Zebra clickart pens this year to color with. They work great on the 70lb paper.

I keep the inserts minimal – I take out old weeks, months, etc and only keep the first half of the year in to start with. I still decorate as I want but I find myself using the neutral layouts as is.

And that is my 2023 planner. I enjoyed 2022 for the most part, I did lose some family over the year which is always sad. This we hope to do more travel and I plan to go back home at least once. Overall I am looking forward to what this year brings. 🎉
